At Fistral beach last weekend Chris Guts Griffiths put on a stellar performance to take the title of SUP British Champion.
In testing conditions ,Griffiths put on a stylish performance to beat a quality field including fellow finalists Adam Zervais and Tim Mellors.
Guts said after his win I am really proud to have become the very first British Champion at Stand up Paddle Surfing.
This is a new surfing discipline and one that is becoming a huge global sensation and winning the British title is the first step along the road to hopefully competing in the European and world contests that are going to be happening over the next year or so!
I would really like to thank the British Surfing Association and C4 for putting on the event and giving everyone a chance to compete for a very special title.
